Patron and International Humanitarian Service
Hon. Chairman and Commissioner George Mentz, JD MBA, CWM, KSG (Datuk Seri) is an
internationally recognized legal scholar, nobleman, and philanthropist. He serves as Seigneur of Fief Blondel et L’Eperons in Normandy—one of the last
Crown-registered fiefdoms in Europe—and holds the Feudal Barony of Annaly-Longford in Ireland, including the ancient Captainship of
the Annaly Kingdom, a title historically linked to both Viking and Anglo-Norman rule.
Hon. Counselor Mentz has received noble honors across three continents. In Southeast Asia, he
holds the prestigious state title of Datuk Seri, granted by the Sultan of Kampar and formally recognized by government
authorities in Malaysia and Indonesia. In West Africa, he was inducted as KOFO (Noble Commander) into the Royal Order of the Golden Fire Dog (ROGFD) by the Royal House of Sefwi Obeng-Mim
in Ghana—an honor affirming his global work in education, diplomacy, and interfaith leadership.
In Europe, Mentz was knighted into the historic Order of St. George (OSG)—founded by Emperor Frederick III in 1468—with the
ceremony conducted by Karl von Habsburg and the Cardinal of Prague. These distinctions reflect Mentz’s
tireless advocacy for humanitarianism, scholarship, and spiritual unity.
Additionally, Mentz is Lord of the Manor and Forest of Ennerdale in Cumbria—one of the largest manors
in England at over 17,000 acres—and Lord of Stoborough in Isle of Purbeck, Dorsetshire. Together, these estates
comprise more than 20,000 acres of UNESCO heritage territory, including forests, rivers, lakes, and
historic sites. Mentz is dedicated to the protection of these environmental treasures.
Significantly, Mentz has been granted an official government Patent and Commission as a Colonel by a U.S. Commonwealth
Governor. This commission includes formal government recognition of the rank and title "Honorable", distinguishing him as
both a public servant and statesman. His global contributions continue to promote education, environmental
stewardship, and peace among nations.
